Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the earth.
Let Us Pray - O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit has instructed the hearts of the faithful, grant that by that same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in his consolation. Through Christ our Lord Amen.
The Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.
Prayer for Peace Today
God of peace, bring your peace to our vioilent world: peace in the hearts of all men and women and peace among the nations of the earth. Turn to your way of love those whose hearts and minds are consumed with hartred. Strengthen us in hope, and give us the wisdom and courage to work tirelessly for a world where true peace and love reign among nations and in the hearts of all. Pope Benedict XVI
Prayer for Healing
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, you care for us and provide us with all that we need. You shower us with your love and send people into our lives to help care for us, especially in times of sickness or pain. I pray for healing for myself and for all who suffer because of illness or advanced age. I pray especially for __________________________.
In the midst of our pain and weakness, strengthen our faith that we might be filled with hope in you. In the midst of our frustration and discouragement, give us patience that we might accept our own limitations. In the midst of our loneliness and fears, help us know we are not alone, that you walk with us each moment of our lives.
Be with us, Lord, in our time of need. Heal us in body, soul and spirit that we may rejoice in your grace and blessings in the world and come to enjoy the fullness of your presence in the life to come. We make this prayer in your name for you are our Risen Lord. Amen.
Year of Faith
O my God, I firmly believe that You are one God in three divine persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe that Your divine Son became man and died for our sins, and that he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths the holy Catholic Church teaches because You have revealed them, who can neither deceive nor be deceived. In this faith I intend to live and die.
We turn to you in humble supplication for ourselves and our Parish and Diocese in which we work, live, and pray, that this Year of Faith may be a true source of renewal for each of us. May we be strengthened to live our faith in the midst of the world with joy and love. Prayer for Peace of Mind
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you, knowing that you love me, care for me and will never abandon me. I want to be like Mary, who in spite of her sorrows and great pain, was able to enjoy peace of mind in the midst of her suffering, confident that God was at her side to give her courage. Help me to know that my suffering and pain too will pass, as you gude me along the right path and that only goodness and kindness will follow me all the days of my life. Jesus, heal my heart and grant me peace of mind.
A Prayer When in Poor Health
Jesus, in the goodness of your heart, you have given me your great gift of life. You have asked me to take up my cross daily and follow you. Today my illness is a heavy burden, Lord, and I need the comfort you have promised. As you showed your wounded side to Thomas, open now your heart and have mercy on me. Take special care of those I love and of all the poor and suffering throughout the world.

God, our Father, Creator of the Universe, You have set the earth on its foundation and all the elements of nature obey Your command. We humbly beseech You to keep us safe from all dangers and calm the storms which may threaten us. May we be secure in Your loving protection and serve You always with grateful hearts. Driver's Prayer
Gracious God, be with us now as we travel and guard us every mile of our journey. Help us to be attentive, cautious and concerned about our fellow travelers. Make our highways safe and keep us from all danger. Jesus, guide us to our destination and help us to be prayerful careful drivers. Jesus, have mercy on us. Amen.

Lets give thanks to our heavenly Father for our angel standing by, 'Cause it's so wonderful to have someone who rushes to dry each tear we cry. Just a precious guardian angel designed especially to be right by our side, uplifting when we're low and lonely and comforting us with arms outstretched so wide. Our angel realizes that we're human and protects us when we're weak and oft in need, that's why it's so nice to have an angel doing many kindly deeds. Delivering messages of love in a tender, heartfelt way, angels are special and glorious, brigtening our day. It's exciting to feel the presence of our angel that God has sent, filling our hearts with hope and happiness as to us they patiently attend.
